It’s official! The 2022 Edward L. Bernays Mark of Excellence Awards Program is now open!  We hope you will join us in celebrating the bright work of PRSA SD/IC’s collective talent and count yourself among those PR practitioners who are breaking down barriers and challenging the status quo! Please consider submitting your own creative, innovative, and inventive work this year.

Submit an application here.

The submission period will be open on August 4, with varying late fees for receipt of entries:

Early bird rate: Aug 4 – 15

Standard rate: Aug. 16 – Sept. 1

Late entries rate: Sept. 2 – 8

Why Submit a Bernays Entry?
Receive recognition for the hard work put into your public relations campaigns and tactics by submitting a Bernays entry. As the public relations industry becomes more competitive, a Bernays Award is an excellent way to distinguish yourself within the industry. We’d love for you to proudly showcase the Bernays Awards program mark on your website.

Download the 2023 Call for Entries to learn all about submission guidelines and scoring criteria.

There are two types of Bernays – the Silver and the Bronze. All entries are judged by professional and distinguished members of a partner PRSA Chapter. The Silver award recognizes complete public relations programs incorporating research, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Bronze award recognizes public relations tactics, consisting of individual items or components of campaigns.

Special Awards
Don’t forget – the Bernays Awards program also celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to the public relations profession through Special Awards. Nominate fellow public relations professionals, peers, boss, an admired industry leader or small team for one of the seven awards! Don’t forget to review this section in the Call for Entries!

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating all that you have overcome and achieved this year by submitting one or more bronze, silver and special award entries for this year’s Edward L. Bernays Mark of Excellence Awards.
